Nick Calathes banked in 25 points including five crucial down the stretch to push Barcelona to a close road win over Obradoiro

In a quick turnaround following Thursday’s home loss to Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, TD Systems Baskonia bounced back with the away win, 75-70, over Coosur Real Betis.

Pierria Henry poured a game-high 20 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter of the ACB Regular Season Round 14 contest. He also registered six assists and six rebounds. Alec Peters added 16 points.

Also, Iberostar Tenerife held on to beat Hereda San Pablo Burgos, 84-79, and improve to 12-1. Marcelinho Huertas and Giorgi Shermadini shared a game-high 21 points. For the losing side, Dejan Kravic put up an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double.

Real Madrid stayed at the top of the standings thanks to a perfect 14-0 record after beating Unicaja Malaga, led by Walter Tavares with 18 points and eight rebounds.

Barcelona also stepped on the court Sunday night but they had a much tougher time in the close win over Obradoiro. Nick Calathes led the way with 25 points including five crucial points around the two-minute mark.
