Facu Campazzo left Spain but he’s still claiming MVP trophies.

Denver Nuggets guard Facu Campazzo was named MVP of the 2011-20 decade in the Spanish ACB League following a fan voting. The Argentinian player beat former Real Madrid teammate Sergio Llull in the Final, gathering 55.4 percent of the votes.

Campazzo played spent six seasons and a couple of months in ACB from 2014 to November 2020, when he left Real Madrid to sign with the Nuggets. Over those six years, he won the championship title three times (2015, 2018, 2019), the Copa del Rey twice (2015, 2020) and the SuperCup four times (2014, 2018, 2019, 2020).

In 2019, Campazzo was named Finals MVP after also being named in the All-Spanish League First Team. He made the First Team once again in 2020 while being named in the Second Team in 2017 (when he was on loan to UCAM Murcia) and 2018.

Campazzo collected three more MVP trophies in Spain: The 2020 Spanish Cup and 2019 and 2020 Supercup, when he emerged as leader of Real Madrid after Luka Doncic’s departure.

Speaking of Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks star lost to Llull 31.4% 68.6% in the semifinal stage of the voting.
