A solid defensive effort in the second half earned additional separation for FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona fully dominating the ACB Regular Season Round 22 contest went by UCAM Murcia, 92-63, Sunday. They allowed only nine points in the third quarter simplifying proceedings.

Kyle Kuric banked in 15 points and Nikola Mirotic followed with 13 points of his own pushing the team coached by Sarunas Jasikevicius to 17-3 in the domestic league. The W marked the tenth straight in all competitions.

San Pablo Burgos jumped to 15-6 off a dominating display to notch the away win, 101-90, versus Manresa. Thad McFadden went for 22 points and Vitor Benite added 20 points.

Iberostar Tenerife went up to 17-4 on Saturday defeating MoraBanc Andorra, 89-83, on the road. Georgian center Giorgi Shermadini produced a game-high 19 points.

TD Systems Baskonia (16-5) dominated Casademont Zaragoza (7-13) while Valencia (15-6) got past Unicaja (9-12) on the road thanks to Klemen Prepelic with 25 and Mike Tobey with 23 points.

Real Madrid just barely got an 81-80 win against Herbalife Gran Canaria and improved to an 18-1 record at the top of the standings.
