Real Madrid used a strong fourth quarter to defeat Joventut Badalona 101-92 at home in Round 32 of the Spanish Liga Endesa and still remains in charge of the standings with a nearly perfect 30-1 record.
Sergio Llull paced Pablo Laso’s squad to the win with 15 points, Usman Garuba posted a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds, Jaycee Carroll had 13, while Walter Tavares and Alberto Abalde each tapped 12 points for Real.
On the other end of the court, Pau Ribas led Joventut (16-14) with 20 points, while Conor Morgan and Vladimir Brodziansky had 15 points each.
Earlier on Sunday, San Pablo Burgos (19-11) edged Baskonia (22-9) with a 94-83 victory on the road, led behind a 20-point performance by Dejan Kravic. Rokas Giedratis posted 19 points for Baskonia and Alec Peters followed with 18.
