Zeljko Sakic is expected to soon be announced as the new member of the Spanish club Estudiantes, as Eurohoops’ Chema de Lucas reported.
Sakic will finish the season in the Spanish Liga Endesa after playing for Avtodor Saratov of the VTB United League.
The 33 years old forward/ center has been a member of the Croatian junior national team and he has also played among others for Manresa in Spain, Lukoil Academic in Bulgaria, Lietkabelis Panevezys in Lithuania, and Zielona Gora in Poland.
He won two Bosnian League championship titles as a member of Siroki in 2011 and 2012, the Bosnian Cup of 2012 and he was also a champion in the Bulgarian league in 2016 with Lukoil.
