Achille Polonara was added to TD Systems Baskonia’s injury list and will be re-evaluated in the next days after suffering a right ankle sprain, the team announced Monday.
Polonara, 29, was hurt during Sunday’s ACB Regular Season home game versus Joventut Badalona. His side lost and fell into a tie with Valencia in fourth place of the Spanish league standings.
His side will visit FC Barcelona on Wednesday and Baxi Manresa on Sunday before moving to the playoffs.
Polonara had 12.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.9 blocks per EuroLeague match this season. He has also posted 11.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per ACB game.
