Five quick points by Sergio Llull get the job done for Real Madrid at Lugo

After the double-digit lead was cut to two points, Sergio Llull scored five straight points in crunch time sealing the win, 79-71, for Real Madrid at Rio Breogan.

French forward Guerschon Yabusele registered a team-high 14 points in the ACB Regular Season Round 6 held at Lugo, Spain. Rudy Fernandez, Alberto Abalde, and Walter Tavares had nine points apiece, while Llull, Carlos Alocen, and Thomas Heurtel added eight points each.

Adam Hanga picked up an injury in Friday’s Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Round 4 visit at Panathinaikos and joined the list of missing players already featuring Trey Thompkins and Anthony Randolph.

Earlier, Gran Canaria got to 4-2 in the Spanish League rolling Coosur Real Betis, 94-70. Surne Bilbao notched its first win, 85-80, opposite Urbas Fuenlabrada.
