Two days after beginning the EuroLeague season with a home loss to Olympiacos Piraeus, Barcelona took out its anger against Fuenlabrada in ACB League. Sarunas Jasikevicius’ players were dominant from the start and prevailed 84 – 56 on the road to register their second win this season in Spain.
The trio of Tomas Satoransky (12 points, six rebounds), Cory Higgins (11 points) and Rokas Jokubaitis (11 points) led an overall balanced Barca offense. The Blaugrana began the game with an 8 – 22 lead in the first period and never looked back, turning the match into a complete blowout in the last quarter.
Only Jovan Nobak (10 points) scored in double figures from Fuenlabrada. Earlier in the day, Real Madrid also got a win.
