Not only did Nicolas Brussino register a career-high 35 points, but accomplished it while being perfect from the field.

Brussino shot 5-5 on 2-pointers and hit 5-5 triples en route to his new personal best as Gran Canaria beat Unicaja Malaga 88 – 70 at home in a Spanish League game for Round 19. The 29-year-old wing only missed two free throws, going 10-12 from the line, and grabbed nine rebounds to register a huge number of 49 PIR.

Per ACB, these 35 points are the most any player has scored in the league’s history while being perfect from the field.

Thanks to these 35 points, Brussino broke his overall scoring record of 30 points, a number that he had posted three times when he played in his native Argentina with Penarol.

In the Spanish ACB, and European competitions in general, Brussino’s previous highest-scoring performance was the 29 points he had as a player of Zaragoza in a 113-104 loss to Estudiantes in 2021.
