Unicaja Malaga will play against FC Barcelona in the Copa del Rey 2023 quarterfinals on February 16 at 21:30 CET, but Ibon Navarro’s team won’t have an important piece under the basket.
Yankuba Sima, who joined the Spanish team recently after starting the season with Reyer Venezia, has been diagnosed with a grade-one injury in the left leg adductor.
This injury, as communicated by the club in the official statement, “will prevent him from playing on Thursday against Barça in the Badalona tournament”.
Yankuba Sima, who arrived at the 2022 Basketball Champions League Final Four with BAXI Manresa, will be replaced by the 16-year-old Mario Saint-Supéry.
