Joe Thomasson will remain next season at Coviran Granada. The undisputed hero of the team’s effort to avoid relegation, which was secured on the last round of the season, has renewed his contract for the 2023-24 season.
The US forward Coviran Granada during the month of May to play the last four games with the club after signing last summer in the VTB League with Zenit St. Petersburg and then moving to Greece for Promitheas Patras. He was outstanding in that dramatic final stretch of the season for the Spanish club.
Thomasson’s best performance came in the vital victory in the Andalusian derby: 28 points on 10/13 FG against a Real Betis team that ended up being relegated.
