Yiftach Ziv officially left Maccabi Tel Aviv and moved to Spain to join Fundacion CB Granada, where he will play his first-ever year abroad. In the 2022-23 EuroLeague season, he had 1.6 points and 1.2 rebounds per game in just 5:29 minutes of playing time over a total of 9 appearances.
Moving to Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2021, the 28-year-old playmaker played his whole career inside of Israel, wearing the jerseys of representatives like Maccabi Haifa, Bnei Herzliya, Maccabi Ashdod, Ironi Nahariya, and Hapoel Gilboa Galil Elyon, wearing the Israeli national team jersey since 2017.
Before officially announcing it on Twitter, his agent Misko Raznatovic posted a cryptic tweet with the Israeli flag, an airplane, and the Spanish flag. This led a lot of basketball fans to think about Yam Madar, who is reportedly under Fenerbahce’s radar.
