A blowout win for Real Madrid following Barcelona enjoying a double-double from Willy Hernangomez

After losing the first ACB Clasico of the season against Real Madrid and bouncing back in the EuroLeague opener against Anadolu Efes, FC Barcelona continued its good mood by surviving against MoraBanc Andorra 91-87.

Willy Hernangomez ended the encounter with a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds, finding the right chemistry with Tomas Satoransky, who had 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists at the end of the game at home. Nicolas Laprovittola continues to be an offensive force, scoring 17 points.

Andorra dominated the first half of the encounter, going to the locker room up by 10 points (47-37) with great performances by Stan Okoye and Markel Starks. The former ended with 21 points, and the latter had 12 points and 8 assists. Marin Maric was crucial on the glass by going close to a double-double with 19 points and 8 rebounds, while Andrew Goudelock was also important for his team, providing 12 points.

Real Madrid separates on top of the table

In the last game of Spain’s Liga Endesa Regular Season Round 4, Real Madrid made short work of Girona on the road. Clinching the win, 93-74, checked in sole possession of first place.

Numerous standout performances for the team coached by Chus Mateo, including Facundo Campazzo with four points to go with seven assists and four steals. Dzanan Musa put in a team-high 14 points, Guerschon Yabusele
followed with 13 points and Mario Hezonja had 12 points. Sergio Llull and Vincent Poirier added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Carlos Alocen (left knee), Gabriel Deck (right leg), and Walter Tavares (illness) remained sidelined.

For the losing side, Ike Iroegbu tallied a game-high 17 points.

Baskonia and Valencia get a win

Baskonia earned the win, 90-81, on the road against Coviran Granada. Chima Moneke scored 26 points behind 10/13 field goals and pulled down 11 rebounds. Vanja Marinkovic threw in 19 more points for the team coached by Joan Penarroya.

Fellow Turkish Airlines EuroLeague participant, Valencia edged out Monbus Obradoiro, 85-79, at La Fonteta. Brandon Davies paved the way with 19 points. Jared Harper was sidelined alongside injured Xabi Lopez-Arostegui and Martin Hermannsson.
