Another day, another win for still undefeated Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is still undefeated during its 2023-24 journey. The Blancos beat Granada 83 – 76 on the road in the Spanish ACB League to extend their season record to 15-0 over all competitions.

Facu Campazzo led Real with 21 points on 7-9 shots and five assists, including five points and three dimes in the decisive final period. Granada was up 70 – 67 with seven minutes to play and their opponents made a 0 – 12 run and established a lead beyond a shooting distance for the rest of the match.

Dzanan Musa contributed 16 points for Real Madrid while Fabien Causeur had 12 points. Mario Hezonja dropped six out of his eight points in the fourth quarter. Carlos Alocen (left knee), Sergio Rodriguez, and Guerschon Yabusele (knee) did not suit up for Round 8.

David Kramer paced Granada, now 1-7, with 16 points. Kwan Cheatham scored 13.

Jan Vesely powers up Barcelona for a win on the road

FC Barcelona never trailed on the way to the 79-63 victory versus Rio Breogan in Spain’s Liga Endesa Regular Season later Sunday.

Jan Vesely was the lone double-digit scorer for the defending champions of the ACB. The Czech forward/center made all of his seven attempts from the field in a 14-point showing. He also pulled down seven rebounds.

Nicolas Laprovittola (left adductor), Michael Caicedo (right foot surgery), and Rokas Jokubaitis (sore left hip) were sidelined for the team coached by Roger Grimau.

For the losing side, Lithuanian Martynas Sajus produced a game-high 16 points.

Barca took advantage of Valencia‘s misstep, catching the second-placed team in the standings at 6-2. The Oranges resting Brandon Davies lost, 80-76, to Joventut Badalona. Deshaun Thomas was on fire with 29 points, including 7/12 triples.

Elsewhere, Dreamland Gran Canaria overcame a career-high 25 points by Matt Costello to defeat Baskonia, 88-76. Nicolas Brussino posted a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double.
