Unicaja Málaga delivered a commanding performance to defeat Hiopos Lleida 91–72, turning what began as an even contest into a convincing home victory.

The game started on level terms at 19–19, but Unicaja’s collective play, orchestrated by head coach Ibon Navarro, gradually took control. Their balanced offensive approach proved too much, even against a standout individual display from Oriol Paulí, who led all scorers with 28 points. For the hosts, James Webb was the top contributor with 17 points, anchoring a well-rounded team effort.

Elsewhere, the clash between two Spanish sides bound for the Basketball Champions League Final Four was expected to be tighter, but UCAM Murcia asserted their dominance with an 86–60 win over La Laguna Tenerife.

Tenerife made a strong start, leading 24–29 at the end of the first quarter, but gradually lost their grip as Murcia imposed their physicality and tempo. The home side’s superiority became increasingly evident as the game progressed, reinforcing their push to secure a top-four finish in the Liga Endesa standings.

The game also featured an entertaining scoring duel, with David DeJulius and Patty Mills trading baskets throughout the night, each finishing with 23 points in a classic shootout.
