DAZN has announced a temporary price reduction for its Basketball Plan after Real Madrid forward Mario Hezonja followed through on a viral challenge he issued last week.
During a game against Valencia, Hezonja made a deep three-pointer from near midcourt and jokingly challenged the broadcaster to lower the subscription price to €2.99 if he repeated the feat.
On Sunday, in Real Madrid’s 131–123 overtime win over UCAM Murcia, he delivered again — hitting another long-range triple, this time from the logo at Movistar Arena.

The Croatian star finished the game with club career-high 40 points, 11 rebounds, and a PIR of 53, playing a key role in Madrid’s comeback victory. After making the shot, Hezonja celebrated by gesturing toward the crowd, referencing his earlier challenge.
Following the game, DAZN confirmed that its Basketball Plan will be reduced to €2.99 starting next weekend.
The package typically costs €9.99 per month, though it had already been discounted to €6.99 for the end of the season. It includes coverage of Liga Endesa, the Copa del Rey, the Supercopa, as well as the NBA Playoffs and Conference Finals.
