Round 7 of the ACB got off to a wild start—ranging from a double-overtime thriller that handed Manresa its first league win to a commanding victory for Baskonia in Lleida. It was a stretch of games packed with excitement and high-quality basketball, with Girona also involved in a nail-biting finish.

Seventh time’s the charm for Manresa

Kids&Us Manresa secured its first win of the ACB season (1-6) by defeating Monbus Obradoiro at home in a hard-fought contest that went down to the wire (100-99). With two overtime periods and a game lasting nearly three hours, the excitement at the Nou Congost was guaranteed.

JD Notae (33 points) led the scoring, with strong support from Ferran Bassas (21). For the Galician side—now 3-4 following the loss—Joel Soriano stood out, single-handedly contributing 30 points.

McClung delivers a narrow victory

FIATC Girona had to battle until the final seconds to secure a home win against Surne Bilbao (92-87), bringing their record to 4-3 in the standings.

Mac McClung led the charge with 19 points, well-supported by Jassel Pérez, who once again played a key role with 13 points. For Ponsarnau’s squad—who threatened to pull off an away win—the top performers were Hilliard (24) and Nate Darling (21).

Baskonia gets the win on the road

Perasovic’s team secured a comfortable away win against iLERNA Lleida (93-98)—a result that stands in stark contrast to their 1–9 record in the EuroLeague. They have moved into second place with a 5–2 record, trailing only Real Madrid.

A spectacular Kobi Simmons (25 points and 6 assists) led the way to victory at the Catalan arena. He was supported by young Stefan Joksimovic, who added 15 points. For Lleida, James Batemon’s 29 points ultimately went unrewarded.
