The first Final in the Liga Endesa between Barcelona and Real Madrid was grand from all aspects. From the beautiful basketball performed by both teams, to the thrilling finale and the result, judged by buzzer beating lay up, courtesy of Stratos Perperoglou.

Real Madrid forward Anders Nocioni was obviously not happy with the loss of his team. Perhaps even more, with the way it came, after a negative defensive reaction by his team in the very last seconds. “We must recover like nothing happened. These are things that can happen because this is basketball. We have to be very calm in the next game, which I feel confident that we are going to win”.

The Argentinian player was also asked about some certain referees’ decisions, like the unsportsmanlike foul he was called with the score 71 – 71 and gave Barcelona the chance to score four points in one play. “i never talk about the referees. The images speak for themselves”, he commented.
