Baskonia entered the fourth quarter of the match vs Tenerife up 48 – 60 and looked good on its way to take an important win away from home.

Yet the hosts had a stunning 14 – 2 entrance to make it an one-possession matter in less than three minutes. The Basques reacted timely enough to keep their opponents at a distance and ultimately win 76 – 72.

This result propels Baskonia to the third place of the standings and a 21 – 8 record while Tenerife took the slide to the fifth spot, tied with Unicaja Malaga at a 19/10 win/loss ratio.

Rodrigue Beaubois and Adam Hanga paced the winners with 14 points apiece and contributed big in the final lap. With his team ahead 69 – 71 and 54 seconds remaining, Beaubois banged a key 3-pointer that got Baskonia at a relatively safe distance.

When Aaron Doorknekamp (17 points) answered in the same currency, Hanga went perfect from the line to seal the final result.

Nicolas Richotti was the top scorer from Tenerife with 18 points.
