For the first time ever, the Spanish League (Liga Endesa) playoffs will be broadcasted in the USA.
Per the announcement by ACB, the League has reached an agreement with the Eleven Sports network for the acquisition of the rights of the final stretch of the regular season and the playoffs.
ACB president Francisco Roca characterized the USA broadcast launch as an “unbeatable opportunity” since the program will reach “more than 50 million homes”.
The Eleven Sports network broadcasts through such television platforms as AT&T, DIRECTTV, Verizon, Charter, NCTC etc.
Apart from USA, the 2016/2017 Spanish League playoffs will be seen in a record 124 countries on five continents. The potential reach is estimated on a number of 28 million homes spread from South America, Central America and the Caribbean (through FOX Sports Latin America and Sportmax), 18 countries in Europe, most of Africa as well as India, Pakistan and other Southeast Asian Countries.
