Nicolas Laprovittola will be a new member of Divina Seguros Joventut, his agency announced. This will be the player’s third stint in Spain, where he’s played for Baskonia last season and previously with Movistar Estudiantes.
The Argentian player will try to help Joventut escape the relegation zone in the Spanish League standings, where they currently stand at a 4 – 13 record.
Laprovittola began the season with Zenit St. Petersburg with which he averaged 9 points and 3.6 assists in 17 minutes per game.
Before signing with Baskonia last year, Laprovittola started the season in the NBA. He was playing for the San Antonio Spurs where he averaged 3.3 points per game before he was waived.
