Unicaja Malaga slipped away with the victory against Barcelona with 80-78 at home and moved up to a 17-11 record in the Spanish league standings.
Carlos Suarez paced the winning side and was a few numbers shy from a triple-double with 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Sasu Salin followed with 16 points, while Nemanja Nedovic finished with 15 points and seven assists.
Petteri Koponen and Ante Tomic shared 14 points each for the visiting team.
Earlier this weekend, Bojan Dubljevic helped Valencia continue the winning streak in ACB League and stay close to the top, while Baskonia had it easy against Iberostar Tenerife.
