The American fell down and the doctors of both teams immediately entered the court. The player reacted almost immediately however he was carried out on a stretcher and was taken to a hospital for some tests.
“They have taken him to the hospital, at first I thought it was a clash between heads but no, he has collapsed and we hope it is nothing, that is what worries me most now,” said coach Joan Plaza after the game.
