Despite trailing for most of the game, Unicaja Malaga with the help of the home crowd made a huge comeback against MoraBanc Andorra winning 87-86 on Day 33 of ACB League.

Unicaja had a three-point lead (86-83) with 25 seconds left, but in the following play Andrew Albicy was fouled on a three-point shot and tied the game from the free throw line (86-86). With plenty of mistakes and misses on both sides, the hosts were favored by luck and in the end, got the win thanks to Ray McCallum’s free throw with three seconds left.

Andorra had an eight-point lead at halftime (48-40) which plummeted to nineteen points margin (61-42) halfway through the third quarter and it seemed as though the winner was decided. But the hosts didn’t give up and thanks to Sasu Salin and Jeff Brooks prevailed.

Salin led the victors with game-high 26 points in addition to Brooks’ 19 points. On the other side, David Walker scored 17 while Andrew Albicy helped with 15 points.
