Xavi Rabaseda scored 22 points with just one miss from the field and pushed Herbalife Gran Canaria to a 97-70 home win against Valencia Basket in Game 2 of ACB League quarterfinals. The best-of-three series is tied at 1-1 after this match.

The first half of the game belonged to the hosts as they went to the break with, as it turned out in the end, a crucial double-digit advantage (46-33). Rabaseda led the way with 15 points while hitting all five of his shots from the field.

Unlike Game 1 when Valencia‘s defense got the job done, this time around it was the complete opposite. Gran Canaria got into the groove offensively and shot 60 percent from the field (33/55) and the guests didn’t have an answer.

Rabaseda, the leading scorer of the game, got some help from Marcus Eriksson who added 15 in addition to Gal Mekel’s 13 points. For the losing side, Sam Van Rossom and Bojan Dubljevic were the most efficient with 11 points each.
