Juan Carlos Navarro will have his #11 jersey retired in the first”Clasico” of the ACB season between Barcelona and Real Madrid that will be played on November 25 at Palau Blaugrana.
The news was announced by Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu during today’s (7/9) ceremony and press conference held by the club for Navarro’s retirement.
“La Bomba” becomes the fifth Barcelona player whose jersey will be retired by the club. Juan Antonio San Epifanio, Nacho Solozabal, Andres Jimenez and Roberto Duenas also have their Barcelona jerseys hanged from the rafters of Palau.
Navarro officially retired from basketball earlier this summer following a 21-year career that spanned over three decades. He had spent 20 years with Barcelona.
