Thanks to the last ten minutes of the game, Real Madrid beat Joventut Badalona by 23 points (92-69) in the 4th round of the Spanish Liga Endesa, but for three periods the players of coach Pablo Laso were in trouble.

Playing without Sergio Llull, Fabien Causeur and Trey Thompkins, Madrid was leading 65-60 after the end of the third quarter and everything seemed possible. However, after a 14-1 run at the start of the last period, the order was restored.

Facundo Campazzo with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists set the tone in the last quarter and Gabriel Deck also added 15 points. Simon Birgander with 10 points and 13 rebounds was the best player of the losing side. Real Madrid remains unbeaten after four games in the Spanish league, while Joventut has a 1-3 record.
