Barcelona keeps on winning streak against Valencia – ACB Day 5 recap

Barcelona ended another week of action on a high note with a tight road victory over Valencia.

Barcelona overcame Valencia on the road with a thriller 86-85 victory in the final game of Day 5 in the Spanish League and still remains undefeated.

Chris Singleton paced the visiting side with 20 points and three rebounds, while Jaka Blazic added 17 points along with six boards.

Valencia‘s Matt Thomas posted a game-high performance of 27 points, that wasn’t enough to change the course of the game, even though the hosts nearly stole the victory in the final seconds.

Earlier in the day, Baskonia crashed Murcia in Vitoria, while Real Madrid sealed a road victory in Obradoiro.

Real Madrid and Barcelona share the top of the standings with a 5-0 record, Baskonia follows in the third position with 4-1, same as Unicaja that ranks fourth.
