Alex Renfroe reminded everybody of his prime as he dropped 28 points while shooting 5/6 from behind the arc and led Manresa to an 84-79 road win against UCAM Murcia in Spanish League.
The 32-year-old also added seven assists in addition to three steals for a total index value of 32. Alvaro Munoz helped him with 12 points in addition to Jordan Sakho’s ten.
Murcia also had a fiery leader in Milton Doyle who scored game-high 32 points but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome.
The hosts created a 19-9 lead early but Manresa quickly came back and was ahead 42-34 at halftime. There were ups and downs during the second half but the guests were managing to stay ahead constantly, and secure the game by keeping their cool in the final minutes.
