Real Madrid beat Fuenlabrada, 89-79, in the ACB Regular Season Round 18 meeting between the two clubs. Pablo Laso’s team achieved its third straight Spanish League victory despite its 15-point deficit at the end of the first quarter. The 51-year-old head coach didn’t hold back yelling at his players during the first period, but ultimately got the “W”.

It was a special game for Felipe Reyes, who became the player with the most participations in the Spanish League this afternoon (both in Liga Nacional and ACB).

The hosts built a double-digit advantage of their own in the third quarter. However, they also needed four clutch points from Facundo Campazzo following their opponents’ comeback during the fourth period. Sergio Llull also helped down the stretch and finished with 21 points.

Jaycee Carroll added 16 points. Walter Tavares had ten and also grabbed seven boards. Christian Eyenga with 19 points and Marko Popovic with 14 were Nestor Garcia’s top performers on Sunday.
