Fuenlabrada announced that head coach Nestor Garcia filed his resignation which was accepted by the club given “the team’s trajectory.”
Assistant coach Jose Maria Raventos will coach the team in Saturday’s (9/2) ACB game vs. Barcelona.
Fuenlabrada was eliminated from the Basketball Champions League regular season, completing the phase at the bottom of Group C with a 3 – 13 record. In ACB, the team was 7 – 12 and tied with Obradoiro at the 12th spot in the standings.
