The second day of the Spanish “Copa Del Rey” started with Nicolas Laprovittola scoring 36 points and finishing the game with a 50 ranking, as Juventut Badalona beat KIROLBET Baskonia (98-89).
Laprovittola’s one-man show had two sidekicks, Marko Todorovic (15 p. 7 r. 4 as.) and Luka Harangody (15 p. 4 r.), however, the Argentinian point guard was simply unstoppable.
Matt Janning scored 18 points for the losing side, which led just by one point, while Juventut had things in check for most of the game thanks to Laprovittola.
To be exact, the only time in the game during which Baskonia had the momentum, was the six minutes that the Argentinian guard was taking a breather on the bench.
The 50 ranking of Laprovittola is an all-time record in the history of the “Copa”, while the 36 points are a record for the club in this specific competition.
