Facundo Campazzo and Real Madrid managed to stop Murcia’s comeback and keep the chase after the first-placed Barcelona.

UCAM Murcia managed to bounce back from an 11-point deficit and had a chance at victory but couldn’t pull it off as Real Madrid held on for a narrow 82-80 road win in the postponed Day 28 game of Spanish League.

Facundo Campazzo led the way with 20 points on 5-6 shooting (2-2 triples) while adding three assists and three steals. Anthony Randolph added 12 and Fabien Caseur ten points.

For Murcia, Milton Doyle and Askia Booker banked 17 points each in addition to Ovie Soko’s 14 points.

Real Madrid improved to 23-6 in their chase for the first place which belongs to Barcelona (23-5) while Murcia now holds a 9-20 record as well as Gipuzkoa and Breogan which are at the bottom of the standings.
