Baskonia forward suffered a bloody injury during the ACB game of his team against San Pablo Burgos.
With less than a minute remaining for the end of the first half, Shengelia soared catch a pass in order to score the basket. Burgos center Augusto Lima jumped to intercept the pass and, in the process, unintentionally hit the Georgian player on the face.

Shengelia was forced to exit the game. As of now, the exact status of his injury isn’t known.
