Real Madrid remains the standings leader in the Spanish League.

Real Madrid defeated Valencia 83 – 77 in the team’s first Spanish League game following the EuroLeague Final Four.

Thanks to this win, Real improved its record to 27 – 6 and remained the first-placed team in the ACB standings. Valencia dropped to 22-11 but is still the fourth team of the table.

Four Real players scored in double figures: Jeff Taylor had a team-high 16 points and Fabien Causeur scored 13. Trey Thompkins had 11 points, Rudy Fernandez 10 while Facu Campazzo finished seven assists plus four points.

There was a polyphony on Valencia’s side as well: Bojan Dubljevic had 13 points and 10 rebounds, Will Thomas 12 points while Louis Labeyrie, Sam Van Rossom, and Fernando San Emeterio scored 12 apiece.
