Carlos Alocen succeeds Luka Doncic.

Zaragoza guard Carlos Alocen was named “Best Young Player” of the 2018-2019 Spanish ACB League. The 18-year-old Spanish player succeeds Luka Doncic, who won the award in the two previous seasons.

Alocen has been averaging 5.3 points, 2.1 assists, 1.5 rebounds over 14.4 minutes per game in 31 matches this season in Liga Endesa. He was picked as “Best Young Player” unanimously since he received 25 points in the voting by each of Fans, Media, Players and Coaches to get the maximum of 100 points.

The “Young Players’ Best Five Squad” also features San Pablo Burgos forward Vlatko Cancar (22 years old), Real Madrid swingman Santiago Yusta (22 years old), Manresa forward Jordan Sakho (19 years old) and Joventut Badalona guard Xabier López-Arostegui (22 years old)
