Marko Todorovic was named MVP of May in ACB. The 27-year-old Montenegrin big led Divina Seguros Joventut to the 2019 ACB Playoffs averaging 18.6 points, 4.6 boards, 3 assists and 25 PIR per contest this month.
“I’m very happy for my team achieving its goal and for my performances” he explained to ACB and added: “It’s an individual award, a recognition of solid effort, but your team meets its objectives only by winning games.”
The previous MVP of the Month recipients of the 2018-19 season were Tornike Shengelia (October), Javier Beiran (November), Kostas Vasileiadis (December), Colton Iverson (January), Giorgi Shermadini and Dominique Sutton (February), Moussa Diagne (March) and Facundo Campazzo (April).
