After leading Badalona to the Spanish League playoffs, Laprovittola was voted as the season MVP.

Joventut Badalona guard Nicolas Laprovittola was named MVP of the 2018-2019 Spanish ACB League.

Laprovittola, 29, completed the Liga Endesa regular season with 17.2 points, 6.4 assists and 2.5 rebounds for 17.2 PIR. Badalona finished at the seventh spot in the standings and returned to the playoffs for the first time since 2015.

“It’s something incredible to finish the season like this and to receive an award of this magnitude. It’s something I hadn’t thought about for my career,” Laprovittola said to ACB.COM.

Laprovittola was voted unanimously since he received 100 out of 100 points in the MVP voting by fans, media, players, and coaches.

Real Madrid guard Facu Campazzo finished second in the voting with 50 points. Valencia forward/center Bojan Dubljevic received 23 points, Real Madrid Center Walter Tavares got 21 while Breogan center Volodymyr Gerun had 15 voted.
