Unicaja Malaga guard Sasu Salin has been ruled out for the rest of the season, the Spanish club announced.
Salin suffered a calf injury in the Spanish ACB League quarterfinals Game 1 win over Valencia. The examinations the Finnish player underwent Saturday (1/6) revealed edema and hematoma and it was decided that he won’t play in any other game of the playoffs.
In the 2018-2019 ACB, Salin averaged 8.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 22 minutes over 33 games.
Game 2 between Malaga and Valencia will take place Sunday (2/6).
