Real Madrid had an upper hand but Barcelona Lassa didn’t give up until the very end and with a late surge turned things around for a 78-77 home win in Game 3 of the Spanish Finals. Real still leads the series 2-1.

Real had a 77-71 lead with 2:30 remaining but Kyle Kuric answered with a triple sparking Barcelona’s 7-0 run with which they turned the game around.

Real had a chance to win but a couple of their shots in the paint fell short and Barcelona won their first game in the series.

Thomas Heurtel banked 21 points for the victors followed by Chris Singleton’s 12 and Ante Tomic’s 11 points.

For Real, Trey Thompkins and Facundo Campazzo scored 18 points each in addition to Rudy Fernandez’s 12 points.

Barcelona led 19-18 after ten minutes but the guests made a 9-0 run late in the second quarter to go on the break with a 40-34 lead. They increased the lead to 11 points (49-38) after the halftime rest but Barca recovered, stayed close until the very end and managed to grab the win.
