Louis Bullock has been retired since 2012 but the 43-year-old will participate in the ACB League three-point contest and try to win it for the fourth time on September 22. He did it three times as a Real Madrid player back in 2004, 2006, and 2008.

Bullock landed in Spain somewhat earlier and used the chance to visit his former team. He reminisced about the old times with some of his former teammates in Sergio Llull, Felipe Reyes, and Alberto Herreros while he also shared some words with his three-point contest rival in Jaycee Caroll.

“I almost cried. It’s been a long time, but you never lose the love and feeling you have in your heart. They are your friends, your brothers, with whom you have spent a lot of time. Everything is very special. Every person here has touched my heart. And, as I saw today, I did too. You can’t put a price on it,” Bullock said.

Juan Carlos Sanchez, the director of Real Madrid‘s basketball section, also had a laugh with the player, asking him if he would play for them at the Supercopa: “You are fit. You should play for us in the Supercopa,” but Bullock didn’t ‘bite’: “No… I can stay in the corner shooting. That’s all.”
