Following a couple of seasons in Turkey, former NBA player Toney Douglas moves to Spain.

Movistar Estudiantes inked Toney Douglas to a deal for the remainder of the 2019-20 season, the Spanish club informed via press release on Tuesday.

At 33, the American point guard is set for his third European campaign. He split last season between Sakarya and Darussafaka Tekfen. previously competed with Anadolu Efes during the 2017-18 season.

After taking part in 409 NBA games with the New York Knicks, Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Pelicans and Memphis Grizzlies, the Tampa-born guard played in 14 EuroLeague matches with Efes.

Last year, Douglas added twenty 7DAYS EuroCup appearances under his belt averaging 14.5 points, 4 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals per contest. On his Super Ligi performances, had 15.6 points per match with Sakarya, 13.6 with Darussafaka.

From Turkey to Spain and ACB for the Auburn and Florida State alumni. Estudiantes is currently on a four-game losing streak, 3-7 overall in the Spanish league.
