Alessandro Gentile reacted to the news of his former team Estudiantes signing Toney Douglas by calling out the Spanish club for missed payments.

“How does a team sign so many players without paying last year’s players?” Gentile wrote on the comments section of the Instagram post that ACB made for Douglas’ transfer to Estudiantes.

So far, Estudiantes hasn’t issued any response to Gentile’s comment.

Gentile played for Estudiantes in 2018-2019 before returning to Italy to join his current team Dolomiti Energia Trento. The Italian wing averaged 15.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24:54 minutes over 22 games.
