Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 83-63 at home in ACB League’s Clasico for Round 15.
Nikola Mirotic exited the game with 20 points, six rebounds, while Malcolm Delaney posted 14 points.
Trey Thompkins was the only player for Real to score in double digits and led the team with 13 points, three rebounds.
Barcelona’s perfect execution at the beginning of the game stunned the visitors, leading the first period 22-5.
Things didn’t change much in the second quarter, as Barcelona led 39-27. The visiting side regained composure and trimmed the deficit in the third period, though the Blaugranas found themselves with a 17-point lead at the halfway point of the fourth period.
Both teams sit on top of the standings, along with Zaragoza with a 12-3 record each.
