Dallas Mavericks center Kristaps Porzingis, who is back in Latvia for the summer, was spotted in a nightclub after being involved in a physical fight, as local media Apollo reports.

For the time being, the reason for the conflict is unspecified. The video recording outside the club, which first appeared in Latvian social media accounts, doesn’t provide clear audio of what was said between the participating sides, though the aftermath of the brawl is clearly shown on Porzingis’ bleeding face.

Porzingis is seen pushing a woman away as he’s leaving the altercation. After that, he is spotted confronting a group of people, who could be those he was involved in the fight with – as the local media estimates. According to Eurohoops sources, Porzingis was attacked by six or seven unidentified persons who hit him with a chair. Still, no major injury was sustained and no arrests were made.

The player has not made a public statement on the issue yet, though The Mavericks are investigating the case, as Shams Charania reports.

This seems to be a tough offseason for the Mavericks center, who has been accused of rape in late March.
