Gottingen became just the second team to beat Bayern Munich this season in the German League.

Gottingen handed Bayern Munich their second loss of the 2019-2020 BBL season. Kyan Anderson scored 27 points as Johan Roijakkers’ players beat the defending champions 90 – 81 to improve to 9-10 and get one win closer to the playoffs zone.

Alex Ruoff had a diverse contribution of 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds for Gottingen. Greg Monroe was the leading performer of Bayern Munich with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Despite the loss, Bayern remains the standings leader, now at 17 – 2.

Ratiopharm Ulm and Alba Berlin produced an offensive festival of 45 minutes, 218 points and 24 3-pointers. In the end, the “Albatrosses” got the 112 – 106 road win behind Peyton Siva’s 25 points and five assists, plus Luke Sikma’s 20 points.

Tyler Harvey had 23 points and NBA prospect Killian Hayes finished with a double-double of 20 points and 10 assists for Ulm.

Alba improved to 13 – 4 and Ulm dropped to 9-8.
