Ian Hummer left Teksut Bandirma and joined EWE Baskets Oldenburg.

A new addition for EWE Baskets Oldenburg in the form of Ian Hummer. The German club announced on Friday that the player was signed for the remainder of the 2019-20 season.

The 29-year-old American forward, Princeton alum, will only be eligible for easyCredit BBL. His new team also competes in 7DAYS EuroCup gunning for a playoffs berth in the upcoming final round of the Top 16 stage.

Hummer previously played in Germany to tip off his professional career back in 2013 with ratiopharm Ulm. Returned for the 2015-16 season joining Gottingen. Ahead of his third stint made his way to Turkey for Teksut Bandirma, but financial issues are pushing foreigners towards the exit.

As a member of the Turkish outlet, he produced a solid Basketball Champions League campaign averaging 10.3 points, 4.8 boards and 1.6 assists per Regular Season appearance. Added 10.8 points per BSL game.
