The BBL returns with its first gameday scheduled between November 6 and 8

The German League announced its 55th season will tip off November 6, 2020. MHP Riesen will host BG Göttingen in their home hall for the season opener, in the first gameday that will be played between the 6th and 8th of November.

The League further announced its timeframe for the regular season, playoffs, as well as the Top 4/MagentaSport BBL Cup by listing the following dates:

Season start: November 6th, 2020

End of the first half of the season: February 09/10, 2021

End of the regular season: May 8, 2021

Start of playoffs: May 11, 2021

End of playoffs: June 13, 2021

TOP FOUR / MagentaSport BBL Cup

Semi-finals / Final: November 01/02, 2020

For the planned national team FIBA window, the league will provide for two-game breaks. These will take place from November 23 to 30, 2020, and February 15 to 22, 2021.

At the same time, the Belgian EuroMillions Basket League announced its own schedule for the 2020-21 season, with its tip-off also on November 6.
