Bayern fell to EWE Baskets on the road, putting an end to its reign in the German BBL

EWE Baskets stopped the freight train Bayern and its undefeated streak in Germany with a big-time win to close Round 7 of the German easycredit BBL.

Rickey Paulding tapped 26 points to pace EWE Baskets (6-1) to victory, while Wade Baldwin dropped 25 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds for Bayern (6-1).

ALBA Berlin (6-1) struggled but managed to stay on top of its game and expand its winning streak against Ulm (5-1) on Saturday. Niels Giffey and Luke Sikma helped the home team reach the victory with 17 points apiece, while on the other end of the court, Demitrius Conger had 18 points for Ulm.

Tim Coleman paced Crailsheim Merlins (6-1) to their third straight victory with a 108-75 win over Braunschweig (4-3), while Lukas Meisner tapped 17 points for the opposing side.
