Bayern Munich defeated Brose Bamberg 84 – 70 to return to a winning track in the German League after last week’s loss to EWE Oldenburg.
Jalen Reynolds led Bayern’s scorers with 17 points. Nick Weiler-Babb finished with 13 points and Paul Zipser with 11 points. David Kravish (13 points, nine rebounds) was the only Bamberg player in double figures.
Jaleen Smith flirted with the triple-double, finishing with 22 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists as BBL standings leader MHP Riesen beat s. Oliver Wurzburg. In Ulm, Keith Hornsby and Ricky Paulding scored 16 points apiece as Oldenburg downed local Ratiopharm.
After Alba Berlin coach Aito Reneses tested positive for coronavirus, the game between his team and Syntains MBC was postponed to a later date.
